I offer online or virtual psychotherapy (“teletherapy”) via secure video teleconferencing platforms to adults residing in California. Sessions with me are 50 minutes in duration.
-
Because I am licensed in California, I am only able to legally provide psychotherapy to clients residing in California and located in California at the time of our meetings.
-
My full fee per 50-minute session is $220. I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots in my caseload for clients who need it.

I do not take insurance, and I am an out-of-network provider. However, depending on your health insurance plan, you might be able to get your out-of-network therapy costs partially reimbursed.
I recommend calling your insurance provider to ask whether out-of-network therapy costs can get reimbursed with your plan. I also recommend asking about your remaining deductible, before eligibility for reimbursements.
If your insurance plan reimburses for out-of-network therapy costs, you’ll need to ensure that bills from our sessions get sent to your insurance provider, to get reimbursed. I can send you monthly super bills for insurance reimbursement, if your plan is eligible.
One option is to upload the bills yourself, and another is to get help doing so. I’ve partnered with a service called Mentaya, which could help send bills for you, if you’d like support with that. Mentaya can also handle communication between you and your insurance carrier. There is a 5% service charge per claim, charged by Mentaya, in addition to my fee. Let me know if this is something you may be interested in. It’s completely optional, and you may opt in or out at any time.

I understand that life happens. I just ask that you give me at least 48 hours notice, otherwise you may be responsible for the full fee.

For new clients, I’ve found that meeting weekly yields the best outcomes. Throughout my experience, I’ve seen a general difference in outcomes between new clients who meet weekly versus less frequently.
This is because:
In the beginning, more consistency will reveal fuller and more nuanced data about what you’re needing (which informs me how to best support you). We’ll also have more opportunity to really study and support how you navigate stressors and everyday events.
Experience has shown me that more consistency helps new skills, insights, and progress integrate and stick quicker.
When new clients meet weekly with me, there’s also less of a need to use our time filling me in on context and details. This means more available time for reparative / inner work!
Typically, it’s a good time to meet less frequently when clients have a good enough grasp on the most important skills, and on how to address their biggest needs.
