  • My full fee is $220 per 50-minute session. I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots on my caseload. (Please note, my sliding scale spots are currently full.)

  • I’m open about being an autistic complex trauma survivor myself, who has struggled with cPTSD symptoms, substance abuse, and dissociation. I’ve come a long, long way in my own healing journey. My lived experiences inform the nuances I can understand with the clients I support. And my lived experiences have shown me that deep and lasting transformation is possible, with the right supports in place.

Many folks who have found me described needing a therapist who

    • Has lived experiences with multiply-marginalized identities.

    • “Gets it” when it comes to complicated relationship dynamics with immigrant family of origin.

    • Pays a lot of attention to keeping the therapy space anti-oppressive.

    • Recognizes that therapy, trauma, and resilience are political.

    • Will do much more than just talk about the struggles, then rinse-repeat.

  • I don’t take insurance, but I can provide you with a super bill to send to insurance for reimbursements (depending on eligibility). You’ll also need a diagnosis that qualifies for reimbursement, based on your insurance. I recommend calling your insurance provider to confirm eligibility.

If you qualify, Mentaya (a service I partner with) can help file claims for reimbursements. Mentaya handles all paperwork and communication with insurance companies so that my clients don’t need to. Mentaya can also troubleshoot whenever issues with reimbursements come up. It’s entirely optional, and you can opt in or opt out at any time.

  • I only work virtually at the moment. Due to CA regulations, I can only work with CA residents who are located in CA at the time of services.

  • I work with clients on a weekly basis. The depth-oriented and holistic work in therapy with me is most effective with weekly consistency. A weekly cadence also allows people to reach milestones quicker, and it allows progress to stick sooner. When clients have a good enough grasp on how to address their biggest challenges (and when the challenges decrease in intensity), it’s typically a good time to lower the cadence to bi-weekly meetings.

  • My practice implements a limited cancellation policy. Each calendar year, weekly clients get 4 free cancellations for any reason, as long as I’m notified outside of 48 hours. After those 4 instances in the same year, cancellations will incur a balance of the full fee. Rescheduling is encouraged whenever possible (depending on our schedules aligning). I’ve learned that this is a policy that best ensures we can maintain the weekly consistency that’s needed for the depth-oriented work we would be doing.

Cancellations made within 48 hours will be considered late cancellations and will incur a balance of the full fee.

  • Yes, absolutely! And also, for some people, virtual therapy might not be a good fit, for a variety of valid reasons.

I pay attention to how effective virtual therapy is for my clients, throughout our work together. If it turns out that someone isn’t benefiting from virtual therapy, I can help provide referrals to in-person services.

  • I strive to involve caregivers to whatever degree best supports the teen’s therapy. At minimum, I ask caregivers to commit to one monthly check-in that’s at least 25-min.

For the teen client, if meeting for a full 50-minutes feels like too much, we can start with 25-min meetings and work our way up to a full 50-minute session. We can also use other methods that don’t just involve talking.

Therapy sessions and caregiver check-ins 25-minutes and longer are charged and prorated based on my hourly fee.
