Psychotherapy services
I work with individual adults. I currently don’t work with couples.
Therapy meetings are 50 minutes in duration.
I recommend that new clients meet with me on a weekly cadence at first.
I provide only online / virtual therapy, via secure video conferencing. I currently don’t provide in-person psychotherapy (but may in the future).
My full fee is 220 per session. I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients who need it.

In the beginning, more consistency will reveal fuller and more nuanced data about what you’re needing (which informs me how to best support you). We’ll also have more opportunity to really study and support how you navigate stressors and everyday events.
Experience has shown me that more consistency helps new skills, insights, and progress integrate and stick quicker.
When new clients meet weekly with me, there’s also less of a need to use our time filling me in on context and details. This means more available time for reparative / inner work!

Benefits of online therapy
Meet with me from anywhere in California, as long as you have privacy and secure wifi.
Save time, cost, and energy without needing to commute and find parking.
Meeting virtually can be more accessible to people with chronic health issues, mobility needs, or sensitivities.
Even somatic psychotherapy that’s facilitated virtually can be effective and deeply impactful.
Considerations for online therapy
Technical challenges and interruptions to wifi connection could occur.
I might not catch all of your body language, as I can only see what’s in the screen of a video call; if I’m unsure if I’m picking up on something that I can’t fully see, I tend to ask and check in about it.
If others might be in your vicinity, it’s best to ensure you have a private space (with its own door), and ideally have earphones in.
Laws and regulations require that you’re located in CA during our virtual meetings.

What does starting typically look like?
Explore our fit in a free 15-minute consultation call. I’ll learn more about the help you’re needing, and we’ll discuss any questions or concerns you have. By the end of our call, we’ll determine if we’re a good fit to work together.
If we move forward, we’ll schedule a first session. I’ll email you all the information you’ll need, as well as some required forms to review and complete before our first meeting.
In our first meeting, we will focus more on gathering fuller context for your needs. We’ll discuss your goals for therapy, and how we will track progress. We can also begin exploring any pressing or urgent needs you’re bringing in to our first meeting.
I’d be honored to guide and support you
Together, let’s gently heal what’s wounded and stuck
In our sacred shared healing space, I welcome and affirm your multi-faceted aspects, complexities, identities, and capacities for healing and wholeness.
I don’t position myself as the “expert who knows you better than you,” and I trust the wisdom and inner guide / healer innately within you (and within all of us).
With me, you'll never be forced into change, and we will both listen deeply for what you / all parts of you are needing.
Together, we will safely and mindfully explore stuck and painful areas, making them more visible and less overwhelming to address. I'll help you identify and practice steps that promote deep, lasting change and healing.
We will move at the speed of trust.
We will co-create a safe container for you to feel compassionately accompanied, witnessed, and understood. I want the safety and trust we build together to inspire you to be curious, brave, and mindfully aware.
I see myself as your collaborator, who pays full attention at every step, and offers you a unique blend of exploration, experimenting, learning, and inner healing / reparative work, based on what you and all parts of you are needing and wanting.
I also see myself as a trained facilitator who helps you engage the inner healer and guide that’s within you (and all of us).
Healing longstanding wounds through skillful, compassionate therapy can create space for new ways of making meaning, moving through difficult experiences, or relating to ourselves and others.
With time and practice, you could internalize healthier, more nuanced, and more balanced beliefs about yourself and others. Your nervous system could become more flexible and less stuck in modes of anticipating familiar dangers. You could become less tethered to legacies of the painful past, while living more and more fully in the present, with more capacity for meaningful connection, joy, and creativity.
